DUELs are governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in any DUEL, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the DUEL, as determined by Duel App Inc. and its agents, are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Any promotions for any DUEL are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Apple, Google or Facebook. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to Duel App Inc., not Apple, Google or Facebook.
Contest Sponsor: Unless expressly stated within the materials of a DUEL, all DUEL contests are sponsored by Duel App Inc., and not affiliated with Apple, Google, or Facebook. By participating, entrants agree to abide by the DUEL rules and acknowledge that Apple, Google, and Facebook are not responsible for the DUELs.
Eligibility: DUEL eligibility is subject to age and residency restrictions. Participants must meet the specified criteria to qualify for entry. DUELs are open to legal residents of their respective countries where not prohibited by law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry, or seventeen (17) years of age with a guardian's express permission, who have Internet access and a valid e-mail account prior to the beginning of the DUEL Period. Duel App Inc. has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant. All entries (submissions) must be received on or before the time stated during that submission period. Duel App Inc. reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion. You can enter DUELs through the DUEL app. Entrants must fill out all required fields on the account sign-up form to participate in the DUEL. After completing all the requirements to create an entry, each entrant will be allowed one (1) entry into the DUEL. You may only enter once unless expressly stated otherwise on a DUEL. No entry will be accepted from any user whose primary residence is in mainland China.
Fair Play: All participants must uphold principles of fair play and integrity in their interactions on the DUEL platform. Any attempts to bully other users (on or off the DUEL platform), manipulate the process, or otherwise act in a way that does not meet DUEL's moral standards, will result in disqualification, as we strive to maintain the integrity of each DUEL.
Entry Period: Each DUEL will have a defined entry period, including start and end dates. Users must submit entries within the specified submission timeframe listed on the specific DUEL to be considered for participation.
Entry Guidelines: Participants must follow the entry guidelines outlined for each DUEL, including successful completion of all requirements and providing accurate information. Each entry must show the actual entrant (i.e. face on camera, voiceover, unique skillset, etc.) in the video at least once. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disqualification.
Scoring: The scoring process will be transparent, with clear information provided to participants before the start of any DUEL regarding how scores are calculated and how finalists are selected. All DUEL users and Judges can score your entry based on the predefined criteria listed on each DUEL. Scoring will always be clearly denoted on the DUEL's profile. Entries will undergo an evaluation process through multiple rounds of scoring, with scoring criteria tailored to each specific DUEL. Scoring factors may include things such as, but not limited to, originality, relevance, creativity, and skill level, ensuring a nuanced assessment that reflects the unique requirements of each DUEL. The top-scoring entries, as determined by user scoring and a panel of judges, will proceed to subsequent rounds. This approach maintains the integrity and fairness of the competition while accounting for the unique characteristics of each DUEL. Finalists will be selected based on their scores, this ensures that only the most deserving participants advance.
Judges: Distinguished panels of judges, comprising industry experts and leaders, may be included in a DUEL to evaluate entries based on predetermined criteria. Their scores may be weighted (i.e. 10x, 100x, 1,000x, etc.) and affect the winners accordingly; this will always be denoted on the DUEL profile. Their expertise and discernment will ensure a thorough assessment of all entries.
Winner Selection: DUEL winners are determined by the user holding the highest score when the DUEL ends. Winners will be notified by the platform of their win.
Prizes: Prizes for each DUEL will be clearly stated, including any restrictions or limitations. Winners will receive the specified prizes as outlined in the DUEL. Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. Announcement and instructions for prize will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on the potential prize winner’s entry form. Each entrant is responsible for monitoring his/her e-mail account for prize notification and receipt or other communications related to this sweepstakes. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached by Administrator (or Duel App Inc.) within fifteen (15) days, using the contact information provided at the time of account creation, or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, that potential prize winner shall forfeit the prize. Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner. Duel App Inc. may request an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Prize Acceptance Form and/or IRS W-9 form. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
Privacy: DUEL respects the privacy of all participants. Personal information collected during the submission process will be handled in accordance with the platform's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Disqualification: DUEL reserves the right to disqualify any entry or participant that violates the Official Rules or Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of the platform.
Decisions Final: All decisions made by DUEL regarding scoring, advancement, and winner selection are final and binding.
Modification of Rules: DUEL reserves the right to modify or update these rules at any time, with changes communicated to participants via the platform's official channels.
Additional Limitations: DUEL reserves the right to modify or terminate DUELs at any time, as necessary. Any suspected cheating or tampering will result in disqualification of the participant.
Publicity: As defined in DUEL's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, participants acknowledge that their personal information or entry may be used by DUEL for publicity or future marketing purposes. By entering the contest, participants grant DUEL permission to use their name, likeness, or comments as deemed necessary, without payment of additional consideration, except where prohibited by law.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS
Duel App Inc. and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the DUEL, including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting or these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any prize. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of a DUEL is unlawful and subject to possible legal action by Duel App Inc.
Duel App Inc. reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend DUELs, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Duel App Inc. determines that the DUEL cannot be conducted as planned or should a virus, bug, tampering or unauthorized intervention, technical failure or other cause beyond Duel App Inc.'s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the DUEL. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may have occurred, Duel App Inc. reserves the right to void suspect entries at issue. Duel App Inc. and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives, and any telephone network or service providers, are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunction, lost or delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, line failure or malfunction of any telephone network, computer equipment or software, the inability to access any website or online service or any other error, human or otherwise.
